APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSAL FOR SERVICES BETWEEN THE SARASOTA COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD AND FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY FLORIDA CENTER FOR INTERACTIVE MEDIA (FCIM) FOR AN INSTRUCTIONAL IMPROVEMENT SYSTEM (IIS)
Description
Contract will allow Florida Center for Interactive Media to work with district staff in developing an IIS blueprint to comply with Race to the Top requirements. Full $80,000 payment will be made according to the timely completion of outlined deliverables. Race to the Top grant funds have been allocated for this purpose.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the agreement for services with the Florida State University Florida Center for Interactive Media (FCIM) for an Instructional Improvement System (IIS).
